Living in the UK for the last 12 years or so I’d like to think I’ve seen pretty much everything worth seeing in this crazy country. I’ve witnessed while being medicated on marijuana a severely drunk or as the British would say Shitfaced young chap sitting on the sidewalk outside Camden’s famouse Worlds End pub, in the rain repeatedly throwing up on himself asking for a fag (cigarette). I’ve witnessed the Birmingham colour festival highly medicated on marijuana last summer, and needless to say that shit was magical. From the Royal Ascot to Wembley stadium, NEC to the O2 Arena I’ve seen more than enough (highly medicated on marijuana).
Now back to the matter at hand I’ve came across a Telegraph article by Tim Moore on his disdain for Birmingham City. I’m not sure if he’s paid to be a dick or its just in his nature but attacking a city’s Tourism credibility when facts state different is just plain arseholism *I’m aware its not a word*. He writes ‘Birmingham is burdened with an anti magnetic unloveliness that deters sightseers’ he even goes as far as to remind us Queen Victoria ordered her window blinds to be lowered when passing through the city as it was the home to the darkest of satanic mills. However that was in the 18th hundreds, that would be like saying don’t go to to America because we used to fear being killed by Indians.
To me Birmingham is a  City you should visit, I mean it has some amazing shopping centres like the Bull Ring shopping Complex housing a large variety of world famous shops and boutiques.

Smaller trendy markets like The Custard Factory platform catering to people looking to shop from small businesses for that more personal experience, and thats if you like shopping. The Birmingham Library is newly furnished with state of the art architecture surrounded by spots to have a sandwich & a coffee while sight seeing. You could visit the Cube or anyone of the world renowned restaurants in the Mailbox boasting a variety of foods.  Birmingham also have one of the most vibrant nightlife as experienced with an array of bars, pubs and clubs to drink your fill and party the night away.

There are plenty of arenas to view live acts or performances. I’ve seen acts like Kendrick Lamar, Jay-z and Kanye West performing infront of thousands to thousands flocking to the City for the Clothes Show. The City is also home to Aston Villa fc with a rich legacy in football, and I’m not just saying so because I’m a Villa fan.
Being familiar with the Midlands and the Warwickshire Birmingham is a perfect place to stay if you would like to visit places like The Kenilworth Catle or Warwick Castle  & the famous Lady Godiva in Coventry which makes for great sightseeing.  I mean who doesn’t like castles, or naked chicks on horse back demonstrating to lower tax?

Tim Moore’s views are unjust, why tarnish and belittle and entire city. The truth is southerners are moving out of London due to cost of living, rent prices are ridiculous whether its business or home your constantly being milked for your every penny.  Birmingham continues to grow economically with more people opening new businesses & giving back to the city creating a more friendly & neighbourly surroundings than you would get in London.
I would like to make it clear though sometimes people come across very cold and up them selves in the capital city I do have some great friends and family in London.  I just hope this post does not put anyone off going to Birmingham or London as both are great cities with a lot to see and offer not to mention you get a lot more for your money when buying Marijuana in the Midlands…

You cant say I didn’t give you some good advice
